Visit to see the relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis
Members of the Mission Team visited St Patrick’s Church in Manchester on 30th January, to venerate the relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis. During the visit, pupils learned about the life of Carlo Acutis, a young Catholic who lived in modern times and used his love of technology to share and strengthen faith. They were taught what relics are and why they are treated with great respect within the Catholic Church. The visit supported the children’s learning in Religious Education and helped them reflect on how faith can be lived out in everyday life through kindness, service, and the use of personal gifts.
