i-Reach

i-Reach help young people with mental health problems such as low mood and anxiety. They work in many schools.

Our school Mental Health Practitioner is called Melissa.

Meet Melissa...

Hi everyone!

My name is Melissa and I am a Mental Health Practitioner with the I-Reach team, which is part of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST). We work with children and young people in schools to support their mental health and wellbeing, particularly around things like anxiety, worries and low mood.

As well as working directly with children through low-intensity, CBT-informed sessions, I can also support parents and carers through parent interventions and workshops. I also work with school staff, providing training and support around children’s mental health and wellbeing.

I will be based in school on Monday mornings, where I will be delivering sessions with children and running class workshops. If you have any questions or would like to know more about the service and the support available, please contact the school and they can get in touch with me. I will also be at the school gates on Monday morning, so please feel free to come and say hello!
