School Values

At St. Sebastian’s, we are committed to providing an education that is rooted in the Catholic faith and which promotes excellence in all that we do. We want our core Gospel values of love, respect, kindness, truth, peace and joy to be lived in the children’s experience of their school life. We keep Christ at the heart of all we do and believe that our Christian and British values are mutually supportive.

Our partnership with parents and our parish is extremely important to us and we seek to work closely together for the benefit of our children. We have the highest expectations of all pupils so that they become confident, aspirational, articulate learners who are ready for the next stage of education

Our school values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Mission Statement

As we walk in the ways of the Lord, we will:

  • Keep Christ at the heart of all we do.
  • Love learning and grow our gifts and talents
  • Make lasting memories full of joy
  • Understand our special place in the family of God
  • Open our arms in love to all
  • Live life to the full
