Science Week 2019
This week we have celebrated British Science Week. The theme for 2019 is Journeys.
During Science Week we had science experts in, who talked to us about various areas of science and we carried out different experiments in our classes.
Why do we celebrate Science Week?
It aims to encourage an interest in science pursuits among the general public, and to encourage younger people to become fascinated by the world we live in.
On Friday, we took part in St. Sebastian’s Science Fair. Each class had a stand and we discussed our experiments and investigations. The Governors came to watch us and judge our efforts. We really enjoyed taking part and learning about different aspects of science.
