We are so pleased that you are working hard at home and we love getting all your messages and posts everyday on Tapestry.
Stay motivated and try to get your work done in the morning, if you can, to help you to keep to a routine. Miss Dickinson, Miss Cade and myself are trying hard to keep to a routine too. Don’t forget to keep healthy and fit by completing the Joe Wicks PE session. It’s also important to keep your mind healthy, so you could do some colouring in the afternoons as this can help you relax. We can see from your posts lots of you have coloured rainbows and put them in your windows which is so lovey and thoughtful.
We can’t wait to see all your smiley faces again soon, but in the meantime keep sending your work and messages so we know you’re ok.
Mrs O’Neill, Miss Dickinson and Miss Cade
It feels like we haven’t seen each other for so long! I miss you all so much and can’t wait to see your lovely, smiley faces and hear all your exciting news. It’s been lovely to look on Tapestry and see what you have all been up to. You all seem to be learning so much at home and having fun at the same time. You are making your teachers very proud! I particularly love the rainbows that you have been painting and drawing, to show your support for the NHS.
We are so lucky to be having lovely, sunny weather, so if you can try to get outside in the garden and explore what is there. I’ve seen lots of bees and wasps in my garden. See if you can find some too. Maybe you could draw or paint some pictures of them. I have sown lots of seeds and when they have grown bigger, I will bring them into school and you can help plant them in our outside area.
Don’t forget to be helpful around the house by tidying away your toys and maybe sweeping the floors . ( I know you all like to do this in our classroom).
Remember to be kind and thoughtful, say your prayers and above all….stay safe!
I do hope you and your families are alright. I really am missing seeing your smiley faces but I am so glad to see all of the exciting learning you have been doing at home. You’re such busy bees and clever clogs. Keep working hard and sharing news with us on tapestry; I enjoy reading all about it. All of your teachers are incredibly proud of each and everyone one of you. I hope it isn’t too long until we’re all back together in class. Look after yourself and your families, enjoy the sunny weather in the garden, have some fun times together and make special memories.

We really hope you are settling into home schooling well and showing your family just how hard you can work. It’s been lovely receiving work from lots of you on Tapestry. Please try and complete a couple of activities from the home learning section on the school’s website a week. Make sure you continue to do lots of reading - Oxford Owl has lots of stories for you to listen to and read (see school website for link).
We can imagine many of you will be doing lots of practical learning and learning outside. Please don’t forget to share these with us too.
Most importantly spend lots of time together as a family having fun and making memories. We can’t wait to hear what you’ve been up to when we return to school.
This week there will be lots of updates/activities on the website to help us all celebrate Holy Week together.
Love Mrs O’Neill, Miss Dickinson and Miss Cade
