St. Sebastian's R. C. Primary School

In Geography this term, we are focusing on the Equator. We will be looking at the importance of the lines of latitude and longitude and how these affect time zones, the importance of the polar regions and how these extreme weather conditions help regulate the temperature of the rest of the Earth, and much more.

A particular skill that we will be focusing on is map-reading; using co-ordinates to locate certain countries and continents in the world.

P.S. Did you know that the lowest recorded temperature in the South Pole is a whopping -82.8’c!
