British Values

Promoting Fundamental British Values.

In accordance with The Department for Education we aim to actively promote British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain.

Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while different people may hold different views about what is ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, all people living in England are subject to its law.

The Key Values are:

•    democracy
•    rule of law
•    individual liberty
•    mutual respect
•    tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs

Head Boy and Head Girl

We would like to welcome our new head boy and head girl to their positions.

After bravely presenting a speech to the school where they needed to explain why they would like to take on the challenge there was a general election. It was a very close contest so it was decided that each term the role will be given to a different person.

The autumn head boy is Henok and deputy head boy is Joshua

The autumn head girl is Muna and deputy head girl is Tunmise.

We are confident that they will represent our school well to visitors and other schools. They will lead by example to be a good role model for younger children.

Diversity Week

We celebrated all our different beliefs and cultures this week.  Each class chose a country to study, we had visitors and speakers from different cultures and we learned a dance from another country.
